Next week I will be turning 21! I know it isn’t a major goal but I love to review the past year. Below I would like to talk about memories and experiences I had!

Stranger Things- The First Shadow

I went to see this play TWICE this past year! The whole play was amazing and I really liked how it improved the story. Even the stage effects were handled brilliantly. In one scene they had an entire boat go into the Upside Down!! How they managed that on stage I have no idea.
Bob Newby was also fleshed out in this play and we saw him as a radio presenter in his youth! This was quite a good throwback to a character that died way too early in the series. We also saw young Hopper and Joyce. The characters had chemistry even before the show I promise!

Live events are my favorite events!

Seeing things like Stranger Things The First Shadow, Macbeth, Book of Mormon, and the Billy Joel live made me realize I prefer to see the live thing! Live events add a certain buzz to seeing or hearing it on a device. Honestly, having this buzz adds so much more than anything could do! Through seeing these things live I have also made so many cool memories that will forever stay with me.

Temp jobs helped me to set what I DON’T want in a career!

Even though I’ve been struggling to find work- temping has allowed me to see what I do and don’t want in a job! In the past year I had an airplane cleaning job, a receptionist job, and an after school lettings job. Within each job I learned my limits for physical jobs and how much I want to work alone. Learning this now means I can make career moves based on what I do want for my future!

Disneyland Paris really is a magical place!

I am by no means a Disney adult but wow! This place was something different I got to say. Every little detail was well planned and the rides were amazing. There is truly no other place like this!
Personally, I really liked the Pirate of the Caribbean ride the most. The ride itself was just like the movie AND you’re moving in a boat. I honestly don’t think Disney rides get better than that! On top of this, the parades and light shows were the best thing about the experience. With the light shows the castle it self got changed to scenes from the movies! At one point it was Bruno from Encanto which I really didn’t expect.

Discord is a great way to make new friends

Over the past year I have been able to meet a whole new group of friends through Discord! The experience of making friends that way was unexpected but fun! We get to talk shit, play games, and send each other memes without ever really interacting. Social anxiety says hell yeah!!!!
With Discord I have also been able to join servers that are directed at hobbies that I love. This includes Breaking Bad, Nintendo, and Platinum Trophy hunting servers. Joining these servers this year taught me more about my fandom’s than I would usually learn. I am grateful for that as
