Hey everyone! It’s time for my weekly roundup of games I’ve dived into. Here’s what I’ve been playing, what I enjoyed, and what frustrated me (if anything).
1. Tomodachi Life
Platform: 3DS
Hours Played: 5 hours
Genre: Life Simulation
Quick Thoughts:
- What I loved: Seeing my Mii’s be fun, quirky, and just outright weird.
- What was meh: Repetitive tasks like feeding them and getting the donations everyday.
- Overall mood: Happy and content.
2. My Name is Mayo
Platform: PlayStation Vita
Hours Played: 1 hour
Genre: Simulation
Quick Thoughts:
- What I loved: Seeing all of the weird story lines unfold for the third time. This is my third time getting the platinum trophy, so I really do enjoy it!!
- What was meh: Repetitive clicking of the mayo jar!
- Overall mood: Happy and content.
3. Little Big Planet PS Vita
Platform: PlayStation Vita
Hours Played: 3 hours
Genre: Puzzle/Platforming
Quick Thoughts:
- What I loved: Little Big Planet! I personally think that this is my second favorite Playstation series of all time, so playing it is a blast!
- What was meh: The tutorial as I could work out the controls easily.
- Overall mood: Exited and happy.
4. Minecraft
Platform: PlayStation Vita and PC
Hours Played: 15 hours
Genre: Adventure/Survival
Quick Thoughts:
- What I loved: Experimenting with mods on the PC and experiencing the tutorial world again on PS Vita!
- What was meh: Dying a lot on one of the mods.
- Overall mood: Exited, frustrated, but also calm.
Highlights of the Week
- Getting the Third Platinum trophy for My Name Is Mayo! It is one of my favorite series so playing it again has been fun.
- I’ve always been a vanilla Minecraft player, so playing with mods have opened my eyes to how good mods can be for Minecraft.
- Having Dumbledore and the Voice of Princess Peach have a baby called Harry.
Looking Ahead
Next week, I’m planning to try:
- Some more of The Last of Us Part 1- I tried two hours last week and want to get into the game! I’ve heard it’s a good series.
- Pets on my PlayStation Vita as it seems like a chilled pet simulator that could be fun to play.
I’m planning on carry on playing:
- Tomodachi Life
- Little Big Planet Vita
If you’ve played any of these, let me know your thoughts! If you haven’t played any of these, what games have you been playing lately?
