Synopsis:

The third Deadpool movie continued the franchise with its unique blend of grumpy and comical characters, making it a belly-bursting success. Throwbacks and comical jokes were my main highlights, making it one of the best films of the year.

Acting:

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s chemistry was, literally and metaphorically, out of this world. Their bond and understanding of the characters was a pleasure to watch. If it wasn’t for them the movie probably wouldn’t have been so good.
The other actors nailed their parts. Especially Peter- all hail peter! Jokes aside, the acting from the side characters were believable despite a little cringy at times.

Direction + Cinematography:

This movie was visually stunning with great gags. The bus scene where they fought other Deadpool’s was a personal favourite, especially with the camera work. After the fight, the comedic moment of the survivors following Peter was fantastic. Direction and cinematography were flawless throughout as well.

Soundtrack:

Music is one of the reasons why some of the scenes were so funny. The lady in red really did say bye bye bye due to a careless whisper. If I could turn back time, I would not have used so many references but here we are. I’m not sorry.

Overall Impression:

Overall, this is one of my favourite movies I’ve seen all year. The jokes and action were well balanced and it held my attention the whole way through. I would recommend the entire trilogy to people who love superhero movies.
