As a movie lover, I’m always on the lookout for great films coming soon. Since it’s the start of the year, I thought it would be fun to look ahead at the movies I’m most excited to see.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping

This book was my second favourite in the series, so I’m really looking forward to seeing it brought to the big screen. From what has been shown so far, it already looks promising. All I can ask for is that it does the book justice.

The Odyssey

Directed by Christopher Nolan, this upcoming adaptation of the classic Greek poem has really caught my attention. I’ve heard great things about Nolan’s work, and with Tom Holland involved, I’m excited to see what he brings to such an iconic story.

Spider-Man Brand New Day

I love Spider-Man — he’s one of the best superheroes in my opinion. With Sadie Sink delivering some of the strongest performances in Stranger Things, I’d love to see what she brings to the Spider-Man universe too!

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man

The Peaky Blinders TV series told such a captivating story and hooked so many viewers. I would absolutely love to see where this continuation goes. The cast was phenomenal, so my expectations are high for this film.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

As a fan of the games and the first movie, I’m really excited to see how they handle the move into outer space. Super Mario Galaxy is one of the most creative entries in the series, so I’m hoping the movie captures that same sense of fun and scale.
