As February ends I will briefly review the media I consumed this month. This will be a quick overview, not a detailed analysis.

Gaming

Among Us Platinum Trophy

Recently, I joined a Discord server for Mister Achievement, and with the help of people in there, I got the platinum trophy. I am grateful for the help that everyone gave me for this grind. The entire experience has been fun, and I would recommend the platinum to anyone.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

For some reason, I got the Mario Kart bug again. As 8 is my favourite Mario Kart game, I played this more than I should have. Playing online and with my brother has been a blast. So maybe it wasn’t a waste of time? ….. Maybe!

Fruit Ninja Classic+ and INKS+ on Apple Arcade

Recently, I have gotten into trying out different games on Apple Arcade. The games that I have been most into this month are Fruit Ninja Classic and Inks+.
Fruit Ninja Classic is a great mobile game. It’s essentially just a swiping game where you cut fruit in half! The aim is to get the highest score without dying. It’s actually quite addictive for something with a simple concept.
Inks+ is a pinball game with a splash of colour. Instead of trying to get high scores, you get ink on the pinball board. With every new attempt, you can create a different picture. It’s definitely unique! I actually enjoyed this one more- so check it out if you can.

Movies/TV shows

Wasteman

What can I say about this movie? It was full of suspense, and I was on the edge of my seat throughout. Tom Blythe and David Jonsson were phenomenal in their roles. They put on a performance of a lifetime. I loved every moment of this movie and would love to see it again and again!

Goat

The animation was phenomenal, as it was visually smooth and every animal moved around in its own unique way. I don’t rate the story highly, as it was about the underdog, which is used a lot. To be honest, it’s still worth seeing. It is a hugely phenomenal piece of animation that anyone should watch.

Inside Number 9

I finished this amazing series this month, and I cannot put into words how amazing I thought the series was. Every episode was a rollercoaster that was summed up nicely. For episodes that had no link and were a time of half hours, this was a great feat.

Books

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series- Jeff Kinney

My review of the books I read in the series this month is here. In summary, I enjoyed the pants off this series!

Elevation- Stephen King

Stephen King is the definition of a creative author. For a book about neighbourly love and acceptance, there was an element of the supernatural. I loved how King managed to make these two things intertwined! How he comes up with this stuff, I do not know. If you’re a Stephen King fan, do not overlook this amazing short book.

Marvel Unlimited App

As a film nerd I always wondered what the hero’s are like in the comics. Luckily with Marvel Unlimited I can read the comics of my favourites! So far I have read a few of Miles Morales and Spiderman comics which have been fun.
