Since getting my first platinum five years ago, I have been able to reach 77 platinum trophies. In those five years, I have played some good and bad games. Here are my thoughts on some of my favourites!

Life is Strange series

The Life is Strange series is probably one of my favourite series of all time. Getting all 10 platinum’s over 6 games was a long but fun time. This series is done in a visual novel format and follows people with powers. Despite having powers, the games are more realistic and people-focused. My favourites were True Colours and Reunion, so I would recommend those. Even if you don’t go for the full series platinum trophies, the first game is a must-play for any trophy hunter.

My Name is Mayo series

The only thing I can say about the series is that it is the biggest meme in the community! Everyone who has trophy hunted has heard of it at some point in their journey. Like Life is Strange, I recommend the first one at least. It’s a short and funny mayo-clicker game, so it won’t take up much of your time.

Minecraft

Currently, I have two of the platinums and am working on the other half of the platinums available. Two are quite easy; there’s a server that allows you to get most of the trophies, whereas the other two do not have access to that. Using the old method whilst going for the plat has been fun, and I am enjoying it a lot. I currently have the PS5 and 4 platinums whilst working on the PS3 and PSVita platinums for the game.

Among Us

I’ve gotten this game twice thanks to the help of people from the Mister Achievement Discord channel. This fun game was made quicker with the help of people boosting, and I highly recommend playing with friends to speed up the trophy, as the game is tedious with random people. You never know what dynamics you get with strangers, so friends allow you to enjoy the experience.

Do you happen to have any of these platinum items? If you do, I’d love to hear what you think about them or if you’re planning to purchase any!
