This month has been really busy, so I haven’t had the chance to sit down and write a proper monthly review. Instead, I thought it would be fun to talk about the three films or shows that I liked the most.

Spider-Man Brand New Day- Movie

This was so good! Spider-man is the best when he’s depressed, and my god was he depressed. You could tell Peter was feeling alone throughout the movie. The theme of loss was appealing as we can go into the depressing parts of being a superhero. I think this is my favourite MCU film in a long time due to this pinhole view of it. I even watched it twice it was that good!

Minions & Monsters- movie

Minions and Monsters was such a fun movie. It was full of jokes and twists I loved every second. As a lover of animation I really enjoyed what they did! Yes, Minions are basic, but it was what they did with basic that engaged me. The train gag could not have been replicated in any other medium, and I loved it. If you love Minions and monsters I would recommend.

Phineas and Ferb- TV show

Phineas and Ferb was one of my favourites growing up. I really wanted to actually build a backyard beach and through a “Candace Party” as a kid. Obviously, that can’t happen but watching it again as an adult has been so fun. I’ve forgotten how whacky this show was but so this rewatch has been worth it for that.
