Spider-Man Brand New Day

I watched Spider-Man for the third time this month!! This time it was with my parents so… it wasn’t that sad. Or at least I hope it’s not. As a massive fan of Spider-Man I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time! I did review this movie last month, so if you want to read the review its here!

Finished League of Gentlemen TV show

I’ve finally gotten around to finishing The League of Gentlemen! I really enjoyed the dark sense of humour, and the characters were some of my favourite that I’ve seen on TV in a while. I really enjoyed the job seekers more than the others- especially Pauline. Her wit and love of pens really captured my interest. Compared to Inside Number 9, you can tell its their early work. To me it doesn’t distract from enjoying the show- it was just an observation. Now I’ve finished the series I will be going to be watching the live recordings of the shows they did.

The End Of Oak Street

I really did not enjoy this at all. The acting felt cheap, and the story was just there. I knew it existed but was so dull. To me this felt like a straight to Streaming movie, brought to the cinema. If I could erase it from my memory I would- not because its bad, but because it wasn’t Ewan McGregor’s finest work.

Gaming

Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet

I really enjoy quirky, short, and extemly sweet visual novels so this is THE game for me. All of the different routes were unique and I liked how dark they could get. You could also get a cannibalism ending! Even the visuals were different for a visual novel. I would describe it as cutesy, so having that as a backdrop to cannibalism was hilarious.

Buffet Boss

Simulation games are some of my favourite games, so naturally I enjoyed Buffet Boss. You start as a dishwasher then through promotions you become the CEO. It was very short but addictive as the gameplay had a nice loop. This was the perfect short game.

Minecraft Story Mode

My 100th Platinum Trophy milestone has been achieved! I went for the PS3 version this time around as I wanted my 100th Platinum to from a series I love. The main story was pretty good, although I found the DLC a bit boring personally. I just didn’t think the stories were anywhere near as good as the main game and felt a bit lacklustre in comparison. Despite that, it was still a good enough game for me to play through and platinum twice, so I guess that says something! 😂
